For the last hundred years Hill-Tribe paper makers have been practising their craft in the neighbouring mountains. They still use natural dyes and lay their paper out in the sun to dry, as did their ancestors centuries ago.
The item that I have listed is unique and is made from this remarkable and renewable resource, which has also spawned a cottage industry that helps save and not deplete these tall beautiful trees. This guest book is created from Mulberry bark inside and out.
The pages of this guest book are made from thick handmade paper which is smooth and can be written on using a pen or a pencil.
This guest book would make a perfect large notebook/journal as the paper is smooth and perfect for writing on. You could of course use this guest book as a photo album but please remember that there are no protective sheets between the pages, and this means you would only be able to place photographs on one side the of page.
Each guest book is unique and no two guest books will ever be the same which adds to their charm.
This would make a truly special present or a wonderful treat for yourself.
