 "La Reine Margot"

Hand Dyed Pure Merino Knitting Yarn - Fingering Weight

This is a very soft and strong knitting wool, handpainted with non toxic dyes and mordants and indeed a beauty! I have used vibrant shades of blackberry purple, cherry red, raspberry pink, some deep purple and hazelnut-light mocha brown, and there are 2 hanks available from the same dyelot. This yarn will make close to the skin soft knitwear, and it is also suitable for sock knitting, weaving and crocheting. One hank will be sufficient for a large pair of socks (men size). Please note that the colours of the photo may be slightly different from the original.

 

The price stands for one hank of 100g (3.5oz), measuring 400yds (360m) in length. Recommended needle size 2.75-3.5mm (US 2-4) or bigger for a wide mesh result. For sock knitting use 2.5mm (US 1.5).

 

Handwash only with a mild detergent or shampoo.
