  Hand-Beaded, Brocade Trim From Heritage Trading Company Here’s something as beautiful as it is unusual: hand-embroidered trim, stitched by a needlework professional. This piece of trim is richly textured with bullion (also called purl) beads and sequins. And every last one of them was sewn on by hand! The base for this trim is a piece of violet fabric with a 2-inch wide, metallic gold, brocade, floral design. On top of that, the embroiderer has stitched bullion in shades of purple, brown, and gold. The sequins are rose-gold, peacock, and purple. This trim is backed with light-weight buckram.
An important note about trim edges: The chain stitch along the edges of this trim may be damaged in several places. See example in the final photo above. It's a minor flaw but one that we wanted to disclose.
The brocade design on this trim is approximately 2 inches wide. This piece is 88 inches (nearly 2½ yards) long. Length is 2.25 meters. Width of brocade design is approximately 5 centimeters. It is brand new, not "vintage." In other words, it's not used or dirty.
