This auction is for a wonderful Hamilton 17 jewel gold filled 3 position antique pocket watch. It is Hamilton , 17 J, Grade (model) #978, LS, OF, 3/4, NI, DMK. The serial # is 1043265. The case is very good condition, some wear marks but could use a good cleaning. The watch is in perfect working condition. I wore this one as well for quite some time, and have had it stored away for many years. The crystal is original and in perfect shape (no scratches or cracks. The ceramic face is in great condition (small crack by the adjusting arm, one o'clock position). This is really a beautiful piece of American horology, manufacturing and history.
