100% Pure Charmeuse Satin Silk fabric in a beautiful aqua colour.  112cm width (approximately 44 inches) medium weight (16 momme).

Please note that all our 100% pure silk is exactly that - it contains no polyester, no rayon and no anything else! 

Charmeuse silk - also called Satin silk - is made with a satin weave which is soft and supple and drapes beautifully.  The front side of the fabric has a lustrous and reflective satin finish, the back has a duller, rougher finish.

Silk is a natural fibre, and variations and irregularities in the weave are characteristics of the fabric and are desirable, this is the nature of 100% silk fabric.

This fabric is being sold by the half metre (50cm (approximately 19inches)).  Should you buy more than one length it will be supplied as a continuous piece.

 

Please note: I am living in Malaysia at the moment and the item will be posted from there. Whilst I guarantee to post within 48 hours of receiving payment please allow 10-12 days for delivery although it is usually much quicker than this.
