Excellent high grade scarce silver (0.9250) coin struck within a set from 1896 to 1901, designated as Old Head Coinage. Queen Victoria was born on 24 May 1819, and was enthroned since 1837 to 1901 (died on 22nd. January of 1901, aged 81 years) the longest reign of any Monarchy so far. She married a German (prince Albert) with whom she enjoyed 17 years of happy Marriage. Upon Albert's death She became the "Widow of Windsor" extending into a 25 year period of morning. During Her reign Britain achieved the zenith of power and wealth, created by the engineering expansion and the wealth from the Colonies. As earlier as 1851, it was the Great Exhibition which represented the sign of the most powerful of the largest Empire in the World.
