I have been a life-long arachnaphobe and have tried various repellents and catchers. This is the only one that works! I can stay a decent distance away from the offending spider and once they are caught they cannot move, allowing you to remove them without worrying that they are going to scuttle at you. The only thing I would say is that the catcher is better on big spiders than tiddlers as the little ones seem harder to hold on to
This simple device is great, I have several around the house in strategic, ready to hand locations. It's true that it works better on the bigger spiders, but that's good, right? In fact the bigger the spider the better it works :-)
This is a fantastic item, I bought one for my sister last year and my life has become much more peaceful ever since. I no longer get hauled out of bed at 3am, following ear-piercing screams because a wee spider has come within 20 yards. With this little vacuum she handles them herself, albeit with a running commentary for everyone to hear!
If you no anyone that's spider/insect phobic but wont allow anyone to hurt or
kill the creatures(thank goodness!) get one of these.
