HUGE Murano Carlo Moretti Marbled Red/White Glass Vase

Description
This is a magnificent HUGE Venetian red & white marbled glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This is the biggest vase from this range that I have ever seen! It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 49 (see below). Still bares the original factory label! A fabulous item, which catches the light beautifully. Would make an excellent display piece.

One of several items I have from this range, so please visit my ebay shop for similar auctions!

Size
Measures approx 11.5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of intact manufacturing air bubbles, hardly noticable, and common in large blown glass items.
