HUGE Antique Bronze Reception / Butler / Service Bell







I have for sale a small quantity of HUGE reception service bells,i believe the base metal is brass,which has then been either bronze patinated or bronze plated.
These have been reproduced from an antique design which would originally have been intended for use at a reception or in a stately home.
The bell is beautifully cast and is inscribed wityh the word "Service".These are by far the largest service bells that i have ever come across,i have taken a photo which shows it next to a £1 coin to give you some perspective of its size,as well as another photo next to a standard size reception bell.
Today you could use this for virtually any purpose you require a bell,such as in a shop,at a bar,a reception etc, this bell has a crisp ring but is not as loud as some of the larger bells we sell which make it more suitable for places where you want to be heard,but you dont want to deafen people. 
 
 
Packaged the item will weigh approximately 1700 grammes
