As you can imagine this printer is A SERIOUS PIECE OF KIT. It is just over 1.5 metres wide and weighs about 80KG's. Please see Link above for weight/dimensions. The location of the printer is on the ground floor with 1 step down and 3 steps up to it from the garden patio. I can help dis-assemble the printer from the stand and load it into a car/van with your help. Please make sure you can lift and move it. Q:  I am looking for a wide inkjet to print onto canvas, do you know if this will do that job please. Thanks.

A:  Hi, Thanks for the question. I have had a look on the HP website(designjet,supplies,media) and it list three HP canvas media as being compatible so there will be loads more third-party paper types. Great for stretch canvas artwork. Check out the HP designjet and media support forums. I would recommend using HP media or a proven compatible to get the best results. I use Kodak Professional matte self-adhesive and generic gloss paper as shown on photographs.

Q:  Hi, Can pigmented ink be used in this printer?many thanks.

A:  Hi, yes you can. they are described as UV ink by HP.

Q:  Can you use it for vehicle wraps?

A:  Apparently, yes. I've seen it mentioned on HP forums but I've never seen it done myself. I'm not even sure what the process is. It's the sort of thing a print-shop specialist would know.

Note: You cannot mix dye & UV ink systems. You have to swap over the entire ink systems (CMYK). Takes about 10 minutes. see HP website for further details.
