Superb riding holidays in the Alicante region of Spain on well mannered forward going horses, based close to the traditional town of Pinoso (El Pinos) meaning the pines.

Enjoy Fabulous Riding Holidays in this area of Spain. Ride the ancient mule tracks among the olive and almond groves, explore the natural parks or take the pine covered mountain trails overlooking the vast countryside and vineyards while riding one of our well mannered Spanish or English horses.

Fantastic all rear round riding for individuals and couples. All rides are tailored to suit your requirements and can range from a steady hack to a pace that suits you, on either traditional or western saddles. Pre-arranged picnic and bbq lunches are provided on certain days which offer a perfect rest-bite for you and the horses.   

We work closely with you throughout your stay offering personal attention at all times enabling us to cater for your every need, making your experience one that you will want to repeat time after time.

The Accommodation

Casa Vista is the villa you will be sharing with us which is situated in a rural Spanish area just outside the town of Pinoso. This modern 4 bedroomed single storey Villa is situated in an elevated position with fantastic 360 degree views. At just over a year old it boasts all modern comforts including air conditioning, remote lights & ceiling fans in every room, central heating throughout and a log burner in the lounge for the cooler winter months. Here in this peaceful setting you can breakfast on one of the terraces, dine in the open air, or just relax by the pool, (subject to the weather). Your accommodation comprises of a well equiped double room with large fitted wardrobes and pine furniture, TV and internet access with tea and coffee making facilities. We also have a tripple room which consists of a double bed with single bunk above which is an ideal childrens room. Next door is your own spacious shower room complete with bidet. The villa is a 20 minute walk or a 3 minute drive from Pinoso town, transport in our dedicated air conditioned vehicle to town and back is included as and when required.

Disabled-wheelchair access

Please note our villa is wheelchair friendly with access ramps and extra wide entrance doors. Our vehicle is also capable of carrying a wheelchair. Although we do not specialise in disabled holidays we would be willing to discuss your requirements should you consider that our holiday might be suitable for you. 

Pinoso town & the area.

Pinoso is reputed to be the 4th richest municipality in Spain and therefore boast some great facilities which include, a sports centre with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, football pitches and tennis courts. There is also a theatre and medical centre in town plus lots of restaurants and bars where you can sample the local food.
The local market is held on Saturdays where fruit, vegetables, clothes etc can be bought. Other markets are held most days in the nearby towns, with some huge markets on Sunday.
There is a thriving English community locally, English food and newspapers are readily available and some local bars hold regular quiz nights.

There is plenty to do if you want to explore. The coast and beaches are just 45 mins away and the Spa town of Fortuna with its famous thermal baths is just 25km away. The whole area is surrounded by nature reserves, caves and historic buildings, wonderful for exploring on horse back. The nearby towns have an abundance of bars, shops and restaurants and of course the area overflows with bodegas where you can sample and buy the locally produced wines.

Non-Riding partner? Other activities.

We have an ideal solution for a non riding partner, children or friend as there are other activities in the area such as walking, mountain biking and golf. The nearest golf course is 20 minutes away at Yecla and the Alena golf course is only 25 minutes away at Aspe. There are new courses due to open in the area soon. Transport to each of the courses is included in the cost of your holiday so every one gets to do what they want, when they want it!  You can have a great tailored holiday for you and your partner or family, combining any amount of riding with a great range of other activities.
