These shows comprise :
Dark Fantasy (26 shows) - horror and suspense from Scott Bishop, these aired on NBC between 14/11/1941 and 19/06/1942. Imaginative stories for their day which failed to find much of an appreciative audience.
Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde (52 shows) - complete run of radio shows from 1932, starring George Edwards - based on the R.L. Stevenson book.
Frankenstein (13 shows) - complete run of radio shows from 1931, again starring George Edwards and based on the Mary Shelley novel.
The Haunting Hour (26 shows) - inventive mystery/horror/anthology radio shows which aired between 1944 - 1946.
Inner Sanctum Mysteries (166 shows) - mystery/terror/suspense anthology radio shows which aired between 07/01/1941 - 05/10/1952, created by Himan Brown.
Lights Out (104 shows) - 'tales of the supernatural and supernormal' - immensely popular horror shows created by Wyllis Cooper which aired between 01/01/1934 - 06/08/1947 (later becoming a TV show).
Mystery In The Air (8 shows) - all that remain of the 13 shows from 1947, psychological/supernatural tales of horror starring Peter Lorre.
Quiet Please (89 shows) - critically acclaimed, atmospheric horror shows created by Wyllis Cooper (106 shows aired between 08/06/1947 - 25/06/1949).
The Weird Circle (73 shows) - tales of horror, frequently inspired by classic authors such as Edgar Allan Poe and R.L. Stevenson, these aired between 1943 - 1947.
The Witch's Tale (44 shows) - network radio's first drama series devoted entirely to the supernatural. Narrated by Old Nancy (The Witch Of Salem) and Satan (her black cat), these feature tales of vampires, ghosts, werewolves, severed heads and devil worship and ran from 1931 - 1938.
