This item is an unboxed Hornby Dublo EDL2 Duchess of Atholl.

 

It is in nice but by no means mint condition

 

All numbering and lettering present but with some wear.

 

The tender is particularly good.

 

It has been converted to 2 rail running using Chrome plated HD or Wrenn wheels.

 

The tender has been isolated from the loco using and insulated split pin in the drawbar.

 

Nice piece from original owner.

 

Loco has been serviced and remagnetised and runs well.

I am a firm believer in the fact that there are very very few items that can be described as 'Mint Boxed' as the box over the years has had to protect the model. You will find that my descriptions reflect this. I am totally against touching in and improving items in an attempt to mislead you over the condition of the model.

I will not tolerate repaints or resorations

Items will be accurately described warts and all.

Where practicable all locos will be serviced and remagnetised as appropriate. If they are not this, and the reason why, will be reflected in the description.
