HORNBY DUBLO, 2 RAIL , PULLMAN S.R. SET 2035

This beautiful collector's piece is an absolutely superb two-rail Hornby Dublo 2035 SR Pullman Train Set, all original models and box, from the 1960s period. The set contains the highly-prized 2235 4-6-2 Rebuilt Westcountry Class locomotive 'Barnstaple' (running number 34005, with smoke deflectors) in BR green livery,excellent condition and fully tested. Three brown and cream liveried Pullman coaches: 4035 Aries 1st Class Coach; 4036 Car No. 74 2nd Class Coach; and 4037 Car No. 79 2nd Brake Coach. The locomotive and rolling stock are in excellent, near mint condition, with all buffers and original open-ended Peco-style couplings intact. All coaches have the original destination boards, the loco board is a repro.  All livery is superb and intact, and there is also big collection of 2-rail track (16 curved sections, 2 straights) complete with power connector straight - superb! And even has the original track connector staples.

The original Hornby Dublo box is in excellent condition for its age, with the interior yellow storage trays present, while the lid has a bright front image. The lid has the correct 'luxury banner'.There is also the original simplex guide, tested tag and slip and a repro operating guide via andy wilson.
