This is a beautiful book put out by the Yokohama Tattoo Museum and State of Grace inc. It is called Beauty and Violence - HORICHIYO - Ambassador of the Japanese Tattoo and includes a profile and over 75 pages of illustrations done by the late 1800's tebori Master Horichiyo from Yokohama. Rich with Japanese irezumi history and including a summary of Horichiyo's tremulous life by Horiyoshi III,  this book is a must have for collectors of Japanese tattoo art. Biography and introductions in English. The illustrations within are predominitely full page and black ink works and are primarily animal motifs - lots of birds, fish, frogs, snakes and insects (my personal favorite). The book itself is a beautiful hardback, appx. 8.5" x 11" and 100 pages.
