I have 2 SH125 scooters, and I am keeping one of them! Please read ‘The story of 2 scooters’ below, to see how bidding will work. Don’t miss out!
Friday 16 May Update
Please read 'The story of 2 scooters' below - currently as there are no bids, it is this auction for the White scooter that is due to be withdrawn tomorrow at 9pm!
If you want to bid for the White scooter, you'll miss out on a real bargain if you don't bid by 9pm, Sat 17 May.
For those interested in fuel economy, I have found out that Honda are advertising the SH125i as '3 litres / 100 Km'. I have translated that into English (correct me if I'm wrong!) as 94 mpg!!
This scooter is an 07 Reg, just 14 months old, only done 500 miles! It’s virtually as new - a couple of marks on the grab handles don’t show on the photos, and the centre stand has a little rust.
It comes complete with the original Handbook, Service Booklet, 2 sets of keys and Toolkit as supplied by Honda. It was last serviced on 15 Dec 2007, by a Honda agent.
Click ‘Scooters’ on the Honda website: http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/ and you’ll find that a new SH125i will cost you £2,400 + road tax & reg fee.
Grab your chance to save £hundreds!!
Bid for this scooter just to use it, or bid for it as genuine Formula 1 / Jenson Button memorabilia!
The scooter was supplied new by Honda to the Honda Racing F1 team. It is genuine UK road specification - I have checked both facts with Honda UK. It was allocated to Jenson Button’s garage.
I haven’t been able to establish that Jenson’s bottom has been on the seat, but it could well have! Ask him!! On the front of the scooter are JB’s initials, and the front mudguard still bears Honda’s F1 Paddock pass.
The first name on the V5 Registration Document shows ‘Honda Motor Europe Ltd, Motorcycle Division’, and the Document Wallet and rear number plate on the scooter have the ‘Honda Racing’ logo.
The Honda SH125i
Is quick, reliable and economical. It has digital electronic ignition and fuel injection. A tankfull of fuel will take you over 100 miles, then it’s about £7 to top-up, even at today’s prices! £15 Road Tax and cheap to insure.
Is practical, easy to ride and fun! It has the automatic gears, underseat storage and comfort of a scooter, plus the 16” wheels, quiet water-cooled 4-stroke engine and top-box of a motor-bike.
The story of 2 Scooters
I owned a 900cc Yamaha until it was stolen and trashed.
In order to get around, I bought a blue 52 reg SH125. It was great! It was cheap to run, had no problem with a 16-stone rider (me!), was nippy round town, had space for the shopping, and could overtake on Motorways.
I was so impressed, when a much newer white 07 model became available, I bought that too!
But now I can’t decide which one I like best! So, I’m putting both of them on eBay. I’ll sell whichever one gets the best offer, and keep the other.
eBay rules mean that I can’t end a listing within 12 hours of the end time, so:
AROUND 9pm ON SATURDAY 17th MAY, WHICHEVER SCOOTER HAS THE BETTER BID WILL SURVIVE, AND THE OTHER WILL BE WITHDRAWN.
This means - if you are interested in buying, please don’t wait until the last minute to bid! You’ll need to place a bid before 9pm on 17 May, or risk the scooter you are interested in being the one to be withdrawn.
Good Luck, and Happy Bidding!!
