you are about 15kms from a ski resort---my husband Chris is best to tell you of flights -we fly SAS to Arlanda Stockholm which is a beautiful city --we went in the Summer and also went to Russia ---our house is near Skelleftea you can drive there from Stockholm we did the journey and you go through Sundsvall where we stop off for a day -- which has the biggest SKI JUMP which seems to come right near the roadside-it is a big skiing area - you take the A4 which goes right to Russia the scenery is FANTASTIC,we cant go this year as it is my mum -in- laws 90th birthday --the town of skelleftea has some great shops and cafes --our house is near the gold mines and is in a pretty village called Osterjorn near Boliden ---we have a lake in front ---Our favourite activity is going to Skelleftea AIK-- THEY ARE IN THE PREMIERE DIVISION ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE in Sweden and have a superb stadium theirfans go crazy and I was knocked back for sideways when I went to my first ice hockey match I never saw anything so awesome ever !!!!!!
