Höfner has been building jazz guitars in Germany since the early fifties. Premium quality instruments from day one! The top models are increasingly attracting the attention of guitar enthusiasts and collectors. The excellent workmanship and full tone of Höfner archtops have made them the first choice of top musicians all over the world. Common to all Höfner jazz guitars is the neck-to-body joint at the 16th. fret, which ensures easy access to the upper end of the fretboard. The scale is 25 1/2" (64.3 cm), width at nut is 1 3/4" (44 mm). Carved top in selected solid German spruce, flamed maple body, ebony fingerboard. Höfner "Diamond" floating pick-up. Finish: Natural (N). Also available as left-handed (L) version. A Limited Edition of 36 instruments with traditional shellac violin varnish (V) will be offered in 2008. Incl. Höfner Deluxe case.
