HMS JUPITER - Frigate (F60) 9" x 6" Photograph GULF WAR

On offer is a very attractive aerial colour photograph of this broad beam Leander-class frigate that was on deployment in the Gulf in 1991 when the first Gulf War erupted . The photograph is from my collection of Atlas Editions series of warship cards that were printed on high quality, heavyweight gloss stock. They were originally held in ring binders and thus have three holes punched in the upper white surround that can be trimmed without distorting the balance of the photo.

The overall size of the print is 10" x 7½" with the actual photograph measuring 9½" x 6". The reverse of the card provides either a brief history and/or tactical data. This an original item that was published in the Atlas Editions series of warship cards - it is NOT a scanned and printed copy of the same image as can be found with many other items elsewhere on eBay.

Note: litho-printed items are the modern method of mass printing and under a magnifying glass will show a dot-screen pattern, unlike true photographs printed from negatives or transparencies.
