This auction is for an older hippo collectible, purchased from a large estate collection. Many of the items have a date on the bottom showing when they were acquired and these all seem to date to the mid-1980’s, making them about twenty years old now. Unless otherwise described, all the items are in excellent condition. This is a cute hand painted pin tray or dish, probably for jewelry. It is made of ceramic with a gloss finish and is about 6 1/2" in diameter. It is incised QQ which stands for Quon Quon...this company did some wonderful creative animal items in the 80's!
