HIDE-AWAY HOUSE by Beryl Dimes. First Edition 127 page hardback with dust jacket, published in 1968 by Epworth Press, London. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece plate.

Brief details:   'A hedgehog scuttling away down the drive of an old, derelict house was of no interest to Pete and his friends, who preferred excitement and adventure, but it did draw their attention to the house which would be ideal as a new hide-away for them.

But they were not the only ones in need of a hide-away and they were to have more excitement than they could have anticipated. Pete disappeared mysteriously and came across a well-planned escape route for criminals from all over the country...'

Condition:   This book is in very good condition.

The dust jacket is clean and bright with a little light wear at the edges. The price has not been clipped from the front inside flap.

The red hard cover, with black lettering on the spine, is clean and sturdy with light wear to the spine ends and a dent on the top edge of the back cover. The pages are clean, uncreased and securely bound.

There is no name, inscription or other handwriting anywhere.
