A very good used condition hardcover book, with d/w (minor edgewear; scuffs and marks to front cover; slightly dented head of spine), of 278 pages with some b&w photographs. Pages clean and crisp.
 
An account of this film star's war experiences aboard a destroyer in the North Atlantic, followed by combat in various parts of Europe. He also recounts some lighter moments in wartime London with friends such as Laurence Olivier and Noel Coward.
 
Airmail only outside Europe.
