Feedback will be given to a buyer after feedback has been received.

 This confirms to us that the buyer is happy with the service we have provided. It will never be our intention to give anything but positive feedback as we are confident that any problems can always be sorted prior to giving feedbacks. We are always here to help, please contact us well in advance if any problems occur, our reputation is important.

All goods must be paid for in full within 7 days.

POSTAGE, PACKING, REFUNDS AND DELIVERY

Most smaller and light items sent 1st class Royal Mail Packet

Most heavier and bulkier items sent by Standard Parcel Post

Multiple purchases/ expensive are usually sent Recorded Delivery as standard.

 We reserve the right to post any items with additional services other than those advertised to ensure swift secure delivery.

We keep accurate records of all transactions and have proof of posting receipts for all items posted. Receipts will be scanned and emailed in the event of any problems occurring. Buyers wanting extra posting services (recorded etc) will have to contact us before purchase to arrange extra costs.

All of our items are posted in either brand new boxes or brand new padded bags/mailing bags. All protection is by new bubblewrap, and other cartons if required. All seams are taped for security.

We attempt to post items on the next available working day where possible, however we cannot predict when the items will arrive at their destination.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our products we offer the return and refund policy below.

New items must be returned unused and unopened within 14 days from purchase and be returned after authorisation in original packaging. All thermometers and devices will be tested in our workshop to confirm no tampering or use has taken place.

Faulty items can be returned for inspection, repair, replacement or refund within the manufacturers warranty period at our discretion. All items are subject to a fair usage policy stated by manufacturers.  Probes and cables may be exempt from all warranty claims or have very limited cover due to wear and tear restrictions. Not all devices have replaceable probes.

Silverline Tools items may have a “Return to Manufacturer” guarantee. Please read all instructions and packaging regarding warranties etc.  

GLASS ITEMS

If a glass thermometer is delivered broken, it MUST be returned in the original UNOPENED packaging. Items that are broken during opening are at the buyers loss. Very fragile glass items are all shipped with an attached warning label which has to be removed during opening so there can be no excuse for not being aware of the fragility or vulnerability of certain glass thermometers.

All refunds must be agreed and authorised before anything is returned.

Please also note that although we supply many thermometers for food safety and industrial use, we can take no responsibility for their use or abuse or actions taken due to readings taken. We can provide the materials but we cannot train the user!!! Read instructions IN FULL before use and contact us with anything you are not sure of prior to using.
