HARLY WAX 400ml (14oz) tin + free applicator pad The car you see in the photograph is my 1974 De Tomaso Pantera GTS; I spent 7 years restoring this car to a show-winning concours standard. When my pride and joy is not being driven, it lives in a dehumidified bubble. I have now covered 25,000 miles in it over a 9 year period, and in that time I must have tried 30 different wax products on the paintwork, some cheap, some very expensive. Somehow, whatever I tried failed to achieve the wet look finish I'd seen at the car shows in the USA. Frustrated by this, I started bringing various American products home with me to see if I could find a solution. Some time ago I was introduced to Harly Wax, which has proved to be the best I have ever used, bar none. In my experience the liquid waxes on the market just don't measure up - none provide the deep shine that turns a good paint job into a brilliant paint job. Harly wax, like all "real" carnauba wax's, comes in a paste form, and is made from pure No.1 yellow Carnauba wax. This is extracted from the leaves of the Copernica Cerifera palm tree, which grows in the mountains of north Brazil. Many of the waxes I have tried are loaded with polymers, cleaners and white powder. This powder of course, ends up on your window rubbers and under your trim and badges. Harly Wax contains none of these, just pure Carnauba. The American Wax Importers and Refiners Association grade raw Carnauba Wax according to the number of impurities found in it. The finest and most costly grade is number one yellow. Harly Wax is guaranteed to be made from the highest grade of hand-selected number one yellow Carnauba Wax. This wax is very easy to apply and hazes in about 5 minutes. It then buffs off with ease, leaving a wet look finish. I have found it gets better each time you wax the car, as it feeds the paint and builds on the surface.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSThe answer is yes, Harly Wax is suitable for absolutely all paint types, from pre-war Nitrocellulose, to the latest Polyurethane finishes found on all new cars. My friend even uses Harly Wax on his piano! The answer is no, Harly Wax contains no powder at all. And does no mark or stain matt black surfaces. No, it's only possible to suspend tiny amounts of carnauba wax in a liquid. This is why the worlds most expensive carnauba wax manufactures such as Zymol and Swissvax do not make liquid wax. If you see a liquid wax that claims to have carnauba wax in it, this may be true, but we are talking a tiny amount. The best way to describe the experience of applying Harly Wax is it's a bit like taking butter from your fridge and rubbing it into your paintwork, it would cover the whole panel and glide over it with no effort at all. But unlike butter, Harly Wax will haze in about 5 mins, and then buff off with no effort, to produce the most unbelievable shine.(Don't try butter on you car, it will not make it shine!) Yes, like all pure carnauba wax's, you can rub your fingers into the surface of the wax and use your body heat to melt it. Many of my customers use this technique to apply the wax around awkward areas. Most however chose to apply it with an applicator pad (supplied), cotton or microfibre cloth. Net Weight 14 oz.(400ml) If you try this wax and feel that it is not as good as I say it is, send it back to me and I will give you a FULL REFUND. I have never been asked to do this.
See my feedback page for comments left by my customers. Please remember, only cheap wax comes in a liquid form. If you care about your car, Harly Wax it!
