ABOUT THE PLANT YOU ARE BUYING STUNNING RARE HARDY & UNUSUAL TROPICAL FAN PALM TREE "Nannorrhops Iran Silver" Also known as "Silver Mazari Palm" You are buying a young seedling of this, Stunning, Palm. Already showing its Stunning Silver colour. The young palm is in a 8cm Deep Palm pot and is approx 10-15 cm [4"-6"] tall at present. It will be removed from the pot for shipping, and carefully packed. GENERAL INFORMATION & CULTIVATION NOTES From Iran comes another striking palm, It has beautifull whitish silver fronds. Having a thick full crown of fronds, it stands out among all other small palms as the most Eye Catching and Highly sought after as a specimen palm addition to tropical, desert and temperate gardens. Native to coastal Iran, it can tolerant cold well below -10C as long as it is kept well drained and dryish through the winter. It will also stand heat above 30C. The only requirement for success is that this genus must be planted in a dry, well drained setting. Full sun is best but, not a must. Needs Winter protection from the damp in UK winters.
