A Rare “The Conquest” 4.3/8” trotting reel. circa (1960). The perfect lightweight, revolving-drum reel for swimming-down “ long-trotting, etc., where perfect control is needed at all times enabling an instant strike. Sensitive friction brake easily adjusted on check button allows the float to pull line steadily off the exceptionally free-running drum, smooth drum-flange and inset line-guard allows finger-tip casting control and rapid “batting” line recovery. Adjustable check is easily engaged, strong and audible. Fine clearance of drum and frame and tapered handles prevent fine lines from getting behind drum or catching handles. Fitted with latch to prevent to prevent entry of dust etc. Line capacity of 250 yds, 12 Ib nylon monofilament, fitted with “Bickerdyke” line guard, and brass foot. The reel is in a excellent-plus condition, in its box. |
