THIS MONKEY'S A CHARACTER!
This monkey is a cheerful green highlighted with a rich blue. The blue starts on the forehead and covers his back and long tail. He sits with his hands crossed over his knees. Some blue also trails up his arms and legs and a little on his toes. He's not a "realistic" looking monkey, but he's a happy guy with a huge smile, large circular eyes and sticky-out ears. There are diagonal/zigzag decorations a double lines decorating him all over including around his neck.
The bottle was made in Germany and is clearly stamped on the bottom. There is also an impressed mold number "801" on the bottom. There are no chips, cracks or damages that I can see. It was most likely made pre WWII. His head comes off. The original cork remains inside the bottle neck. In one picture the bisque portions that fits inside the cork can be seen as part of the head.
