HANDMADE VINTAGE MUSLIN APRON - BLUE FLOWER TRIM





This is a very vintage looking handmade full style muslin apron.  It is a nice stable bleached muslin fabric, sewn with blue thread.  It is  trimmed with a blue cotton fabric that is patterned with flowers.  The front pocket is shaped like a jeans pocket.  The sides are tabs with a button.  There are two more big pockets in the front.  The apron itself measures 23" at the center front, 20" across the front and 29" from shoulder to hem.   It reminds me of an apron that was made from materials the family had around the house- muslin towels and maybe a pillowcase!    This apron looks like it was either a fun home ec project or a very sweet gift for a special cook in the family.    It is a nice, practical piece that looks like it was lovingly used.  There are no rips or stains on it.
