HANDMADE CAMEL-BONE BRIDGE PINS & ENDPIN SET
Have you ever bought a guitar for several hundred, or even thousands of pounds and been dissappointed by the cheap plastic bridge and end pins? Talk about "spoiling the ship for a ha'porth of tar"! These beautiful pins are hand-made from the finest quality camel bone, which in appearance and resilience is almost indestinguishable from ivory, but is not ecologically damaging. Throughout their lives camels carry such heavy burdens that, as a result, their bones, particularly in their legs, develop a density that very closely approximates that of elephant ivory. For this reason, camel bone has long been favored by carvers who appreciated its stability and the ease with which it could be polished.
Not only will these stunning pins make your guitar both look marvelous, their density and rigidity provide better vibrational transfer through the bridge compared to plastic, so your guitar will sound better too!. After carefully and precisely hand-lathing, each pin is skillfully inlaid with a dramatic "Parisian Eye" in Ebonite and Awabi Pearl, and then the set is mounted in a presentation base made from exotic Tegenwood.
Each set contains seven bridge pins (in case you lose one!) and a matching end pin. You know your guitar deserves it!
