Hello and thank you for looking at my art.

You are looking at hand painted plaster casts of very old wooden shoe moulds for a very dainty little foot.

I found the original moulds in a car boot sale and had a proffessional mould maker that used to make slip moulds for the ceramic industry in Stoke on Trent.

The plaster casts are moulded in a specialist plaster and show up every detail - the seems, the tack marks where the leather was pinned for stretching over the shape.

Each wooden mould is numbered and no two painted items will ever be the same.

I will be listing plain castings for you to have a go at painting one yourself. What an individual present that will make.

Paper weight, door stop or just a piece of art.
