Halloween 2009

"The Shape"

You are bidding on a gallery quality painting entitled "The Shape" inspired by John Carpenter's classic - "Halloween"... Halloween is one of my favorite movies and I thought it would be fun to paint The Shape or Michael Myers. I actually liked the angle and the original mask from the Halloween 4 movie poster, so I went from that, changing things here and there, making it darker etc.

Now, on to the painting.....

The painting measures 24" x 30" x .75"

This piece has been completely handpainted and crafted by me, as I do not deal in any kind of print, digital or otherwise.

I used Master's Touch Gallery grade canvas and acrylics in shades gray, deep black and bright white, giving the painting a dark look & feel, synonymous with the Halloween movies and character of Michael Myers...

I really enjoyed putting this piece together for the past couple of weeks, I hope you enjoy it as well. Please be sure to drop by and have a look at my other auctions, too.
