Contemporary reflection by a supposed draper, Charles Cavers. With a foreword by Sacheverell Sitwell. A nice copy in a bright and unclipped wrapper. The book is tight. The boards are sound, the corners are sharp. The spine label is bright. The uncut pages are clean, the closed page edges are toned with age. The binding is tight. No cracked hinges. This copy is dedicated and SIGNED ( to James Johnston with the author's compliments. Edinburgh 1934 ) by the author: Sir William Young Darling (he later became Lord Provost of Edinburgh and a Conservative MP).
