Here is a  Boxed H.P.Gibson Wooden Chess Set. The box measures 5.75 inches in  length and  2 inches in depth, it has the original instructions and is in  good condition.The wood used for the Chessmen is Boxwood I believe.The board is very unusual and is made up of parquetry using different woods and rolls up into a neat roll for travelling, it is felt backed .I think the age of the board is Edwardian and the Chess set possibly 1930s .The board measures 9.75 inches square, it  is polished  and is in very good condition.
