Traditional balsa and tissue construction for ages 10 and above. Wing span approx 16.5 inches (42 cm). Scale is approx.

Guillow's 500 series are all World War 2 fighter aircraft -16.5 inch wing span rubber powered flying model kits.   

Model has three modes of operation: 

• static display model
• rubber powered free flight model (all materials and instructions provided)
• 0.020 gas engine tethered control flying model (complete instructions included, but not materials or motor)

Kit features:

• accurate scale plan and illustrated step-by-step model building booklet
• light vacuum formed parts such as nose cowl, bubble canopy and small external details
• decals set
• scale plastic main wheels
• rubber motor band
• plastic propeller
• plastic thrust bearing
• wire propeller shaft
• covering tissue
• razor sharp die-cut balsa parts and generous quantity of strip stock

Paints, glue and craft tools are not included and should be purchased separately
