Sight-reading is a crucial skill for the developing musician.  This Guildhall School publication of graded percussion sight-reading helps students to explore their understanding of diverse musical elements through material written in a wide variety of styles.

The sight-reading examples in this book are all based on the techniques and styles found in each grade of the Guildhall Drum Kit Examinations.

There are two examples of three musical styles for every grade.  These examples will not only provide preparatory material for the sight-reading tests but also provide a valuable resource for anyone learning percussion.
