1978 Guild G312 12 String - serial number 179725 - USA made. This is a top quality players grade, highly collectable, vintage Guild G312 in all original condition with original hardshell case - classic yellow plush lining. Because it has ben played A LOT, this guitar has really opened up with a wonderful mellow tone and fantastic projection. There are some pick marks to the top and several small dings to the headstock edges but nothing serious, and no repairs - just vintage character in abundance! The neck is straight, with twin truss rods, and the action is nice and low and very playable. The top is solid spruce, with a two piece solid Indian rosewood back and solid Indian rosewood sides. There is a most attractive marquetry strip to the back, with nicely aged white binding, multi black/white purfling and soundhole rosette. The neck is three piece flamed mahogany and stained maple and it has a lovely, comfortable feel to it. The fretboard is dark stained rosewood, as is the bridge. The headstock features pearl Guild logo inlay, the dot position markers are pearl and the bridge pins are original white plastic. The Guild embossed tuners are very stable and the guitar has no playing issues . This is a very solidly constructed guitar, with powerful projection and beautifully mellow tone, which is a joy to play - a really good, affordable vintage guitar ! Mainland UK delivery only |
