Review: "Just the process of tuning this guitar told me I was in for a treat. This guitar is LOUD. Tight, thumping bass with crystal highs. Very rich in harmonics. No break-up at all even when strummed hard. Don't be fooled into thinking that this is just a finger-style guitar. It will hold its own during a bluegrass session. I have a 1985 Guild D35 and the CV-1 easily beat it in volume and projection. I'm in love. There is not one flaw on this guitar. This guitar is a bargain. I have seen and played Martin's twice the price that can't compare to the sound and beauty of this guitar. Donnie Wade and co. are doing great things at Guild. Nice to know that the Guild name is being treated with the respect it deserves. "The label should say "Made To Be Cherished" because this a fine example of the luthiery art."

 I hand pick my guitars from factory closeouts and seconds, selecting only quality instruments. Most have no flaws at all and are simply closeouts. Any that had blemishes have been restored by an expert luthier and I am careful to report as accurately as I can anything that has been refinished. They are stamped with a tiny "used" on the back of headstock to prevent dishonest dealers from selling you an instrument claiming it is warranteed. What you get is a brand name, quality instrument for a fraction of the cost.

• I will only sell guitars I would like to own myself.  I stand behind what I sell and will accept a return if you are not satisfied for full refund less shipping provided the guitar is returned insured, in the same packaging you received it in, and packed for return just as you received it. Instruments that have been altered or tampered with in any way cannot be returned- sorry!  Shipping includes double boxing, ample padding, and insurance (packaging alone costs me over $10!)

Purchases paid for by 10PM Eastern time go out FED EX the next morning Monday through Friday.  I live in a rural area where FED EX GRound does not pick up on Saturdays.  If you pay after 10PM, I will do my very best to ship out the next morning, but I leave for work early!
