A Goetic Grimoire

You are bidding on a one of a kind hand bound book of shadows inspired by the The Luciferian Movement,Goetic Ceremonial Magick, and the dark practices of Kenneth Grant, Austin Osman Spare, The Cultus Sabbati, and others in the same strain. This is the third book along a dark strain and the second on a purely Luciferian stream of creativity. These are the types of grimoires I envision when I fantasize about books of magick.

This is a massive 9"x11" hand bound grimoire (book of shadows), bound in traditional old world fashion. Quarter bound in mottled brown extremely high grade Italian Leather with black calf covered boards and real black sea snake skin covering the corners. The central Lamen is scarlet stag over hand beveled board onlay attached with silver screws. This work has been extensively gold tooled with the head of Baphomet and the seals of Satan on all four corners and a traditional set on the back cover plus all of the scroll work and spine designs. There is also blind stamping around the the spine bands. A limitation plate stating ONE OF A KIND then signed by the artist has been set on the back paste down over the marbled paste down which of course has matching marbled end sheet- which denotes that this item will never be reproduced exactly the same way.

A Note From The Binder.

I personally bound this book starting with an acid free archival quality clean paper block which I perfect bound with laid in hidden stitching. I then cut the boards and banished all but energies but the darkest Luciferian ones from them. I surrounded myself with the works of Goetic Ceremonial Magick, Spare, Grant, and others for a day or so contemplating the design of the work. I realized that the level of energy behind this type of work is immense but felt that this work was easier in the creation than the last(I am not sure if that thought comforts me).Because it is not that it was physically easier but energetically easier- at first- and that I somehow tapped into a dark vein. After finishing the work and walking away for an evening I returned only to became dizzy upon looking it over again. In fact I almost thought I should not list it because it is a... moving work for me and I fear it some. I beveled the boards, cut leather and snake skin. I then worked the spine and covered the text block. All of this was done in a traditional "old world" fashion following the same procedure I would use for any other valuable restoration. After the leather was on the book I created a beveled Vesica Piscis and hand drew the Baphomet image. I then gold tooled the image on the black goat skin center piece and hand pared it super thin. This was attahed tot he Scarlet stag Vesica Piscis and I added the Hebrew at the points, and 13 solid pentacles. I also used a role to role on the other gold tooling and traditional tools to gold tool the Sigil for Lucifer(seal for Satan) over the corners. This took me a few hours but I did it free hand and used traditional tools for the gold tooling.

 I worked the exterior with sweet almond oil and bees wax to give a deep burnished lustre. Finally I added the marbled end papers and paste downs and "Limited'plate.

I share all of the above to demonstrate the lengths I have gone to in order to provide a real authentic hand bound book that is both a piece of art and a practical item one can use for decades to come.

This book will last as long as any other hand crafted leather book. This is real leather, a real binding, and real artistry that will not be reproduced. All it needs now is your Real energy to enliven it.
