I hand crocheted this Green adjustable headband or mini Scarf, Scarflette Neckwarmer using an 80% Baby Alpaca & 20% Acrylic blend yarn. Nice and warm, and SUPER soft.

A scarflette is a mini scarf. You have the warmth of a scarf without the long tails.

I used a loose knit crochet stitch, so you can button anywhere to tighten or loosen. Wear it loose like a cowl collar, or wear it as a headband or crownless cap.

About 23" x 6" and it stretches out a bit if you need it wider. If you want it thinner than loop the end to make a waterfall front or fold it over. You can button it straight or double over the flap for a draped look. You can button the top and pull the bottom looser, or vice versa.

The 2 buttons are Crystal flowers in appearance, but hard plastic in reality. Clear with the appearance of white against the dark green.

The charm of wearing it as a mini scarf is that you can wear it anywhere, with or without a coat, inside as well as outside. You don't have the tail of the scarf hanging down across your front, so if you are at work, it looks sharp and doesn't get in your way.

It can look like a turtleneck collar. This one could also be worn as a very wide headband or a topless cap.
