This fine china plate was made by Gorham China for the Danbury Mint. The plate is entitled "Scenes from a Wooded Glen" by the artist Jo Polseno and features a "Ring Necked Pheasant" against a lovely detailed woodland background with a farm below a darkening sky in the distance.  The artist's name is also stamped at the bottom of the picture. The plate is 9 1/4" and has gold trim and also metallic accents in the highly detailed picture. It is in very good condition with no cracks, no chips and no crazing.  The back of the plate is marked with the Gorham China U.S.A. mark, the Danbury Mint name and the artists name.
