Luke’s gospel is probably the most loved part of the whole New Testament – which many famous stories, some by Jesus, some by Luke himself, full of the joy and compassion of the Good News.  Here it is introduced by a Church of England vicar who is a well-known broadcaster, with an artists’ eye and a human touch

1974 Fontana softback, acceptable condition – the pages are tanned & there are very occasional underlinings & marginal lines in the text, & unfortunately the first 32 pages have become detached from the rest of the book, 254 pages

I have discovered that the Royal Mail no longer pays compensation for undelivered eBay packages, even when covered by a certificate of posting. For this reason, if you don’t choose to take up the option of recorded delivery/insurance, I won’t be responsible for replacing the goods or refunding their cost if the package goes astray, as I have always done in the past. I will, however, be happy to send you the proof of posting certificate, which I shall continue to obtain, if you want to make your own claim in the event of non-delivery
