Soda : Gold bond
This auction is for an old glass pop (soda) bottle. It's a Gold Bond bottle, 12 oz size. On the bottle in two places it has the Gold Bond logo in red with white letters. It also has a large logo - a square with textured glass (kind of orange peel texture) and a circle with a sawtooth rim - like a bottle cap - it's made to look like a ribbon or rosette. Inside the circle it says GOLD BOND. Above that it says Delicious and below it says Beverages. Below that it says Est 1900. On the back of the bottle it says: Drink Gold Bond Delicious Sparkling Beverages Flavors, Gold Bond Products Co, Denison, Iowa Est 1900, 12 FL. OZS. There was a bottling plant in Denison, Iowa for many years.

On the bottom it says Duraglas and it has a large D. It also says G-571, 7, 55. Between the 7 and 55 it has a diamond shape on a large oval, and I believe the letter I.

This bottle is in very nice condition, with no cracks or breaks. It has some tiny nicks around the bottom and some small scratches and tiny contact marks - normal for glass bottles that were used and reused numerous times. It has paint wear, and some of the letters are worn off. It is just a smidge over 9 1/2" tall. It needs cleaned, but I'm afraid of removing more of the paint, so I'll leave the cleaning to the buyer.

The bottle is from the 1950s or 1960s, but I don't know the exact date. I do know that it's rare to find a Gold Bond bottle in such nice condition.

Thanks!
I enjoy selling, and I love happy buyers.
If there is a problem of any sort with your item, please contact me by email, not in feedback. I would appreciate the chance to work it out with you.

Please pay within 7 days.

S&H is based on the weight, destination and fragility of an item. Not its starting or selling price.

US Payment and Shipping: I accept PayPal from US accounts, and bank or postal money orders. No checks.
US Shipping costs are always on my auction pages, either as a flat rate - which will include insurance. Or through the shipping calculator, which will include the handling fee, but not insurance. To use the shipping calculator, just enter your zip code and click on calculate. It will give you the S&H costs. The insurance cost depends on the item's value.

International Payment and Shipping: All amounts are in US dollars. I do not accept PayPal for international purchases. I accept postal international money orders. No checks. Please contact me for correct S&H before paying. It will rarely be the same as for US shipping. If you would like to know the cost of shipping before you bid, just ask. I'll be happy to figure it for you.

Insurance: Insurance is required for all of my items, and the insurance cost is based on an item's value. Some packages may be insured through U-Pic. Some items may be self insured.

I try to describe all of my items in detail, but if you have any questions at all, just ask - preferably before bidding. If, in the very rare instance that I would make a significant mistake in an item description, my liability is limited to an apology and a refund. The refund will be issued after you have returned the item to me in the same condition it was in when I mailed it to you. This must be done within 14 days of the date I mailed your item.

If you are mailing your payment, please send me an email with your complete name and mailing address within 3 days of the auction's close.

Packing and Handling: I wrap and package my items carefully, and to help cover the cost of packing material, etc., I charge a reasonable handling fee. The handling fee varies - depending on the number of pieces and fragility of pieces in an auction. This fee is already included in specified costs, as well as figured into the shipping calculator. If you require special packaging, please contact me about it before you pay. It could increase the S&H costs.

Combined Shipping: Please check out my other auctions. If possible, I'll gladly combine shipping for items ending within 7 days of each other. If I combine S&H to save postage fees for you, and you're paying with PayPal, please pay in one combined payment so I can save on PayPal fees. Thanks!

Thanks for Looking,

and Happy Bidding!
