Glorious Painted & Waxed Pine Dresser/Bookcase

This is a wonderful painted and waxed pine dresser/bookcase - a piece that will look gorgeous in your kitchen, breakfast room, conservatory or dining room. 

I have chosen to paint this dresser/bookcase in a the gloriously neutral colour being neither too cream nor too white and therefore complimentary to any colour scheme.   It has then been waxed 3 times and very subtly distressed to give it the look that is currently so fashionable.  

The top of the base cupboard  has been stripped right back to reveal the natural grain and then it has been oiled to give it not only waterproof protection but the lovely colour and sheen that you can see.  There are 3 drawers, below which there are 3 cupboard doors that open to reveal an abundance of useful storage space.  There is a shelf that spans the entire width of the dresser.  The drawer and door handles have been chosen to match the colour of the top.  The combination is outstanding.

This is a truly versatile piece of furniture as should you wish a change you could use the base unit as a sideboard/cupboard in its own right - the opportunities are endless!!

The dresser top consists of two shelves each with the obligatory plate grooves meaning that you are able to display your plates/saucers etc. to their best.  The depth of these shelves means you can also display books, cd's and dvd's. 

The top and bottom separate making it easier to transport.

The dimensions are as follows:-

overall height - 179cm (70.5")

cupboard:- height - 81cm (32"), width - 127cm (50"), depth - 42cm (16.5")

top: - height - 98cm (38.5"), width - 127cm (50"), depth - 22cm (8.5")

As this is a refurbished dresser/bookcase you may find the odd dints of wear and tear.  I have tried my utmost to remove as many as possible but there will always be those that escape but rest assured the escapees will be very minor.
