Gilbert & Barker Hand-Operated Petrol Pump – Completely Original

A superb opportunity, to acquire a completely original pre-war petrol pump, thought produced by Gilbert & Barker in the 1920’s.

They make great display pieces in your garage, home or office & it is refreshing to have such a good original example come through our hands. Far too many have had poor restorations, destroying all of the patina.

This pump retains its original fabric covered hose, nozzle & handle & is offered completely as it was found approximately 30 years ago. It has been stored inside a pre-war garage scene ever since.

The pump is structurally sound, with only slight damage to one base lug & no repairs or significant damage, but all the usual age related wear you would expect.

It has been over painted black at some point over its life, which could be brought up really nicely if a good bee’s wax polish was applied.

A worthwhile project & certainly an appreciating asset – Why not add the final touches to make your garage/garden to make them look straight out of the 1920’s.
