This exquisite Halcyon Days 'Royal Tour' enamel box was a personal gift from Prince Charles and Princess Diana. The box is made to a unique design, created exclusively for the Prince and Princess, and is inscribed inside on the lid and base.

This box was for the Royal Visit of the Prince and Princess in 1992 to Hong Kong and Korea. Each person that accompanied Prince Charles and Princess Diana on the tour were presented with one of these exquisite boxes,as such only about 20 were made,making them one of the rarest royal commemoratives.

The design on the lid names and portrays symbolic symbols of the visit that the box commemorates.The inner lid carries the inscription "Presented by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales".

This box was presented to Sergeant Ronald Lewis in 1986 when he accompanied Prince Charles and Princess Diana on an the official visit .He was the Travelling Yeoman to the Prince of Wales, and after his marriage, to The Prince and Princess of Wales. After their divorce he continued to work for Princess Diana.

Sgt Lewis worked for the royal family for a total of twenty-nine years, he was a highly valued member of the royal staff and was awarded the Royal Victorian Medal, for services to The Monarch.

Halcyon Days were awarded the coveted Royal Warrants by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Queen Mother and The Prince of Wales as the first and only suppliers of Objects d?Art and they are one of only seven companies to hold all four Royal Warrants.

These royal presentation editions are superb works of art and are the rarest and most coveted. The box is complete with a distinctive presentation box decorated with the Prince of Wales Feathers. The box is 3 cms in diameter and is in pristine condition. The gilt Halcyon Days backstamp is on the base.The box is complete with its original velvet lined fitted presentation box which has the gilt Prince of Wales crest on the lid.

The box is accompanied by a Certificate of Provenance signed by Keith Lawson who is an expert recognized by UK auction houses.Both he,and Peter Smith,the other Director of Royal & Regal Memorabilia,appear regularly on TV in the UK,as experts in this field.
