Gibson F5 Fern

I'm reluctantly selling my lovely original Gibson F-5 'The Fern', which is in near perfect condition. This is a rare limited edition model, acoustic certification signed by Danny Roberts of "The Grascals" (and Gibson acoustic engineer). I custom fitted my mando with the following options: a) the Schaller Machine-heads have been changed to Nickle colour, b) James Tailpiece added (http://elderly.com/accessories/items/JMT1-GOLD.htm), c) the top which is normally cremona sunburst has been changed to a orange-red sunburst (check the pictures for the colour differential between the front, sides and reverse) The finish is perfect apart from slight coloration difference at the point where fretboard meets body of the instrument. All other features are standard to The Gibson F5 Fern, including on this model, the scalloped fretboard-end. There is very little fret-wear, and it is set up for low action playing. It comes in its original TKL case, made in Canada. I hope to pass this to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.
