These have very large bases and thick leaves. These are not small cheap plants which can be found else where. Sold with roots 4-5" long which are a bright white colour showing the best health possible. There is no need to wait for these to grow as already full size, some tips have had to be cut back due to the size of that they can grow to (120cm). We find our Vallis grows at a rate of 1cm per day and propagates by sending runners out all the time.

It is very easy to grow and thrives even in less intensive light and without addition of CO2 to the water.

This is taken from one of my own personal tanks. As you can see these are kept in perfect conditions ready for you to plant. They are currently kept at ph6.8 with iron supplements and trace elements added which produces very green leaves with zero yellowing. Supplements are not required but this does mean that when you receive them you get them in a condition that you will not find in any shop or with any other seller. Still not sure... please see our feedback.

These will be sent first class in a padded package which will contain a box where your plants will be perfectly protected. The plants are packed in a way so the leaves are not folded (which other sellers do when packing), instead they are curled around in a large box so they are not damaged in any way.

FAQ's
Q. How many plants will I receive?
A. You will receive at least 2 individual plants however if I pull more out then I will send you more free of charge. (Q. Why might you send me more? A. Because I can grow this at such a fast rate it is easier to put you an extra one in than to re-plant it).

Q. Are these easy to keep?
A. Yes these are one of the easiest plants to keep even in poor lighting and poor water conditions.

Q. Should I attach a weight to the bottom of the plant?
Strictly no weight should be added. These plants will suffer if strangled with a leaded weight and will kill new shoots from the base. Once planted these will not float to the surface but instead spread across the tank quite naturally.

Q. Will these grow out of control?
A. You can control the growth by removing the excess growth 1-2months from areas which you do not wish them to grow.

Q. Do I need a Co2 unit?
I use Co2 but only because I invest a lot in my tank. Co2 units help any plants but are not a requirement, in fact these type of plants grow very fast and lush without this.
