'Getting there' letterpress book (silk-bound edition)

A lino cut journey through the alphabet. Each letter is wittily represented in word and image on the theme of transport. The images are printed directly form the artist's lino blocks and the words are in red and black using Gill Sans wood letter and metal Bembo type.

Two versions of Getting There have been printed; this special edition version is bound in red silk, in a hard, silk-covered slipcase, with six additional prints in an edition of 15. The book was printed from the artist's original linocut blocks onto Mowhawk Superfine soft white eggshell 148gsm paper, on a Heidelberg cylinder press at our workshop in London.
