Steven George Gerrard, MBE
D.O.B 30 May 1980
Gerrard, who has spent his entire career at Anfield, made his debut in 1998
He has been Liverpool captain since 2003.
His honours include a pair of F.A Cups and two football league cup wins, as well as the UEFA cop in 2001 and the UEFA champions league in 2005 Gerrard is also the current holder of the football writers association footballer of the year award.
Gerrard made his international debut in 2000, and represented England in the UEFA championship in 2000 and 2004 as well as the 2006 FIFA world cup, where he was the team's top goalscorer.

Jamie Carragher
James Lee Duncan "Jamie" Carragher
D.O.B 28 January 1978
He is the current vice-captain and is one of the club's longest-serving players
making his 500th appearance for Liverpool in all competitions in January 2008.
His professional debut was in the 1996-1997season and became a first team regular the following season.
He gained his first senior honours in 2001,
winning a cup treble of the FA CUP, league cup and UEFA cup.
One of his his greatest honours to date was helping his team to secure the
UEFA champions league cup.
In the next season, he won the FA cup and was selected in the PFA team of the year.
Carragher set a record for the most appearances in European competition for Liverpool in 2007.
