Condition: NewType: Nutcracker

Dear Christmas Friend,

 

You can bid here on an original wooden carved nutcracker from the Erz Mountains in Germany. From here the idea of Christmas crafts and trees expanded into the world around 1840.

 

And like 150 years back in time I am sitting in my snuggery after a full day of work and I manufacture these pretty unique nutcrackers.

They are cut out of solid wood and carved into detail by hand. Later I apply the paint and affix the hair and parts to make the nutcracker really work.

 

The nutcracker will come with 8 nuts for decoration purposes, but it is not just decoration. It can be used for the real job ;-) and crack some nuts for you. Just don’t be shy!!!

The nutcracker is called “Pimmler” in our region and has been a collectible for many. It can also make a great gift for unique colleagues and friends at funny birthday events and leaving dues. Therefore I provide the service of labelling them with a name or title for you. Don’t hesitate to contact me for inquiries.
